I knitted my very first cabled mug hug this weekend; isn't it cute? You can find the pattern in Simply Knitting March issue 103. 14 rows to the pattern with a repeat 4 times, that's all there is to it. A friend has ordered one for her Red Nose Day bake off in the village we live in (with a small donation going to the charity). I don't normal sponsor this but as I have some red wool why not.
Did you get some sunshine where you are? After a frosty start we were lucky to have a sunny dry day, the first for a long time. Cars washed, washing on the line and a long walk with Moss.

That's brilliant, it fits your mug so well. It was sunny here too, Archie got a lovely long walk in the woods.
it was just luck that it fitted and I didn't bother to block it ;-)
Hello Amanda
That looks really snug and I bet it does keep the mug really warm. Lovely red too, very vibrant!
Its been sunny here since 12ish but but we started the day with a very clammy mist that came in from the sea.
keep well

I made a mug hug as part of a gift swap. Dead easy to do and functional too.
It looks so snuggly, love it! Sunny day here today, though still quite chilly :) xx
That's great, and what a lovely bright colour!
The sun's been shining here this weekend and what a difference it makes.
How gorgeous. I must make one . A new follower of yours. :)
Maybe I should knit one as a give-away too x
